Ring Size
Use the ring sizing chart to find the perfect fit.
1. Wrap a length of string, floss, or ribbon around the base of your finger. Be sure to check the measurement around your knuckle as well to ensure the ring can slide on and off easily.
2. With a pen, mark the point on the string to record your measurement.
3. Measure the string in millimeters with a ruler and use the ring sizing chart to determine your ring size.
Carat Weight
Although the term "carat" is often used to describe the size of a diamond, a carat is actually a measure of diamond weight. One carat is equal to 0.2 grams.
As carat weight increases, so does the diameter of the diamond. The carat weight increases faster than the diameter of the diamond since the diamond is growing in all 3 dimensions - length, width and height.
Finger Coverage
Use the diamond coverage chart to estimate finger coverage.
A finger coverage ratio under 40% will tend to look classic and understated. Coverage ratios between 40%-50% provide a balanced look. Ratios over 50% capture attention with a glamorous look.
1. Find your ring size on the top row.
2. The percentages in the table describe how much of your finger will be covered by the diamond.
3. See the diamond carat weight on the far left column.
